Dear Lovely,
A few days in. Let the new year sink in before I begin this reflection. As the time passes, I stop making resolutions. Many of them have been promises I can’t keep. And who am I promising these things to, my true self or the person I’d like to be? I’ve got some decades under my wings…a few notches on my belt. I know what’s what. So why not just keep it real. I am who I am with all my faults and quirks. All my shortcomings and regrets. I can say that this year I’ll try harder than the last and be better than I have in the past. But when all those words have gone, guess who will still be here? The same old me. I say this not as a pessimist. I just like to be honest with myself.

Some days ago I was having brunch with a good friend. We’re sitting at the bar and she’s doing her best to take a photo of our food. Picture after picture and there was always something a little off about each one. I could see the many patrons of the restaurant looking at us, some with confusion while others seemed to be laughing to themselves. Propless Photo Booth Rental

Recently we were at Jillian and Brandon’s wedding in Beverly Hills! They were married at the Greystone Mansion, which might I add was gorgeous! We used the scenery of the venue to create and amazing backdrop in there fireplace room! There was so much history in the room documenting each step in building the Greystone Mansion and all the history. The rich blue and white contrast just made for a beautiful backdrop. Also the bride and groom chose to go for a propless photo booth, and that didn’t stop the guests from getting creative! Brandon has this amazing collection of old cameras and film cameras that were displayed on the mantle. Not only were they awesome in the background but also made for some cool impromptu props in the photos. Check out some photos from the booth!

Make your Wedding the Best!

Pictures last forever and who can resist the charm of a photo booth at a wedding? This is not only a great way to get memorable wedding day photos, but also fun, casual and impromptu photographs! Besides being lots of fun, it’s also something that the guests will definitely remember as an original detail from your wedding. Take note of the following ideas and assure you have the most successful photo booth on your wedding day!

1. Location

It is very important that the photo booth is located in the right place, namely in a spot where all the guests can see it. It should be strategically incorporated into the reception venue, ideally near the bar or close to the dance floor. Every time a guest or a group of guests takes a photo, they should sign it and tape it to the wedding guest book or hang it up if a place for that has been set up. We also offer high end photo guest books, which is a great way to remember all your guests and great memories.

2. Number of Guests

The more, the merrier! When deciding on a photo booth for the wedding, choose one that can accommodate more than one person – at least 2 or 3 people at a time. This will make taking pictures a lot more fun! We have fit 13 in our photo booths! We like to invite you to a challenge, can you fit more?

3. Get the Word Out

Don’t forget to spread the word: let the guests know that there is a photo booth at their disposal, free of charge! Ask the DJ or whoever else is in charge of the entertainment, to announce and periodically remind guests that there is a photo booth at the wedding… so that no one misses out on the picture-worthy fun! Don’t worry, we do this for you! We are always in contact with the DJ or Coordinator to make sure the booth is always active.

4. Prop or Not to Prop?

Anything and everything is allowed – moustaches, glasses, wigs, hats, feathers, horse heads, signs with funny sayings, bow-ties, empty picture frames, … or no props. Whatever floats your boat, we have a great quality photo booth that takes great portraits or silly classic photobooth photos. Choice is yours..

5.Wedding Favors

The pictures that guests take at the photo booth can also be the wedding favors – everyone will love to take home a fun moment from your wedding, frozen in time. To complete the wedding favor, prepare a table with small picture frames (they can even be cute cardboard ones!) so that guests can frame their favorite photographs before taking them home. We can add picture frames to your package and check wedding favors off your list!

6. Show it Off

During the reception, plan a showing of all the pictures taken at the photo booth during the wedding. We can also show off all the great photos on a projector, get a good laugh out of all your guests who will absolutely love to see all the photos that were snapped.

7. Show your Style

If you’re considering renting a photo booth, be aware that different types of booths have different types of layouts for printing out the pictures that are taken: while some print out 4 photos at once, others print out only one, while others may even print out the photo as a postcard. If you wish, you can personalize the layout to include the wedding date or a sweet message for your sweet guests… Most of our package include custom design to match the print to your wedding. We just finished a great party at Los Angeles Athletic Club in Downtown LA. Everyone at LAAC, were so helpful and wonderful to us and the venue was absolutely gorgeous! So what were we doing there? We had the pleasure of providing the fun for Transplant Connect’s joint Holiday and 10 year anniversary party! We were so blessed to be apart of their event, not only is it pretty cool what they do, they are a bunch of great people. Lucy and Christina were so kind and they even made some really cool props – like an actual heart! Now, that might not make sense if you don’t know what they do, but in a nutshell, there software helps medical professionals make more informed and quick decisions which in turn increases organ and tissue transplants around the globe. Transplant Connect added a corporate photo booth to there party and it was a hit! They went with a works, from GIF videos to social integration everyone was happy! There was even a party in the next room that was trying to get in the fun! They literally left there party to try to get in on our photo booth! LOL! Everyone was in great festive spirits and definitely dressed for the occasion! Most guests were in amazing gowns and looked very dapper!

We were apart of a fun Holiday party last week in Venice, CA. Ashley at Pursuit of Shoes, hosted a fun party of friends and family in her lovely home. She provided an amazing garland to add to the template we create. Everyone was having a great time with the booth and loving the high quality lighting and images. Another benefit of an open air booth, is the flexibility. We had limited space to work with and on the second floor! Ventura Photo Booth | Stevie’s 1st Birthday

If you have children, you probably remember how you wanted to make your child’s first birthday one to remember. As we all know, at one year’s old, the birthday party is more for the family and parents than for the child. Stevie’s parents wanted to make his birthday parent bash the absolute best! A decked out Peter Pan theme birthday party was in order and it wouldn’t be complete without a Ventura Photo Booth rental from the best of the best! It was only 2 weeks before the event but we pulled off an amazing custom template to match the feel of the party! Stevie’s mom was over the moon for it and we couldn’t be happier! With rain in sight and an outdoor park party, we didn’t let that stop us! Family and friends brought extra pop up tents and the party continued. We were lucky that the rain left just in time for the party to start. Veronica did an amazing job on her son’s birthday party, she didn’t let the weather ruin it and her positive attitude was so refreshing. The kids and parents enjoyed the photo booth and all the features we have to offer such as emailing, texting and sharing with friends. When Peter Pan himself and Tinker Bell arrived from Neverland they also took the opportunity to be a little silly in our photo booth.

Nick + Bri | Camarillo Wedding Photo Booth

Oh my what a fun wedding! Nick and Bri are such a breath of fresh air and literally everyone at the wedding was so much fun and such a blast to be around! Their wedding was held at the beautiful Gerry Ranch in Camarillo, CA in October. Being in sunny southern California, we are blessed with great weather almost year around. We had a nice warm day with a perfect evening weather. There was also such wonderful decor and flowers from the amazing Casi Cielo Events & Flowers! We were lucky enough to be given some of the flowers at the end of the event.

We created a sleek and modern photo strip and the guests created some pretty awesome GIF videos with our GIF Photo Booth. We loved seeing how some guests planned out their photos to create some pretty creative clips, Check it out below.

Another thing we absolutely loved was Nick and Bri used our Photo Booth Guest Book at their wedding! This is one of the best personal guest books to have because not only does it make everyone get in the photo booth, it also encourages your Great Grandma and Great Aunt Sue to get in the booth too! They loved seeing the quality of the images and using the photo booth to get a nice portrait that they haven’t had in awhile. Not to mention what a fun way to remember your great grandma!

And one last thing… remember on our why us page, we talk about why our open air booth is awesome! We can get so many more people in the photos! Nick and Bri got 11! And we still believe they could have gotten more! So dare you to try… let’s see how many you can fit!
